What's going on.... are u leaving soon?
Here is the latest update at this time.
1.Dave and I are waiting for the Kazakhstan embassy in DC...Mr. Almat Alderbekov to finally approve our dossier with the latest information he requested.
2. Dossier travels through the Kazak Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education.
3. Region assignment
4. Recieve a letter of invition and get visas
5. Travel to Kazakhstan to meet Baby Kinney
So....between now and then we just WAIT . We have been told by our director at our agency that we probably wont be home for the holidays. What a great present to finally meet our Baby Kinney and bring in the New Year 2009!
I continue to prepare us for our journey...making sure we have all our long underware,cashmere and snowboots and all other outdoor clothing and gear! As, time passes by the island of Nantucket it gets really quiet and gray so...it will be a good time to be away. We will miss our dinner parties with friends and game nites too but, I hope we can find some Kazak fill in friends for that.
